• #New Release AweSun 12: Supporting Remote Control Framerate at up to 144fps One of the newest and groundbreaking features of our latest AweSun 12 is it has achieved supporting framerate at up to 144fps during remote control, allowing, for instance, your remote gameplay experience to be buttery-smooth and latency-free with framerate at maximum 144fps. **Before getting started, you need to know:** There are hardware and software conditions for unleashing the 144fps feature: **-Hardware conditions:** GPU from the controlled device needs to support video encoding. The display refresh rate of both the controlling and controlled devices should be 144HZ or above. **-Software conditions: ** Your AweSun plan needs to be of Game plan to therefore fully take advantage of the top-notch feature. However, if you are currently not on Game plan, please notice that AweSun allows all other paid plan users for framerate at 60fps maximum which brings smooth picture and satisfy the demands from most of the remote work cases given that in general display refresh rate of average workplace computers is no more than 60HZ. Last but not the least, make sure the controlling and controlled devices have the latest version of AweSun12 installed. If both the hardware and software conditions are met, you are ready for a 144fps experience. **Let’s start!** **-To control your devices listed on ‘My Device’:** Upon selecting the device listed on ‘My Device’ to control, AweSun will smartly recommend the optimal framerate according to your device setup and the current AweSun plan. If AweSun smartly recommends 144fps after analyzing the controlling and controlled device setup and the type of plan, you will see a Crown denote on the ‘framerate ’ tab in the menu.  **-To remote control someone else’s device:** Please know beforehand what type of AweSun plan of the device you are about to remote control. Then, initiate remote control using Partner ID and Passcode. Once connected, AweSun will smartly suggest the optimal framerate.  **FAQ:** 1. Q: What is the maximum framerate supported on the Free plan? A: 30fps. If you‘d like to have a smoother experience, there are options for paid plans, such as PRO plan (60fps max.) and Game plan (144fps max.). 2. Q: Why does the picture get fuzzy when in motion? A: When bandwidth is not sufficient for achieving a certain amount of framerates, AweSun 12 will automatically lower the quality of the motion picture, for instance, auto-lowering the picture resolution, to ensure the smoothness in remote controls. Yet, if you prefer picture quality over frame rates, please click on the ‘frame rate’ tab and lower down the framerate manually and the picture quality will get improved accordingly. 3. Q: Why is the suggested framerate shown on AweSun different from, usually lower than that of my plan description? A: The highest framerate to achieve during remote control can be affected by the display refresh rate of the controlled device. 4. Q: Why is the picture still not as smooth as expected even though the high framerate box is tickled? A: It may be caused by the GPU of the controlled device. If the GPU from the controlled device does not support video encoding, that would result in a significant impact on the overall remote control experience. Check whether the GPU supports video encoding or not by going to **Device Manager-Process-GPU-Video Encode**. If it shows data changes in the Video Encode section， it indicates that GPU supports video encoding.
