• #Steps to Enable Power On Restore AC Power Loss/AC Recovery/AC BACK Before using the Aweray Remote (Awesun) smart plug, please confirm that the motherboard of the computer must support the **Restore AC Power Loss/AC Recovery/AC BACK** function, that is, the system will automatically start after the host is powered on, so as to realize the remote boot function. If you are not sure whether the motherboard BIOS supports the **Ressotre AC Power Loss/AC Recovery/AC BACK** function, please refer to the following instructions to enter the BIOS settings to check, or contact the motherboard manufacturer directly to confirm. **(Most laptops do not support it)** #### Enter the motherboard BIOS After pressing the power switch of the host, immediately repeatedly tap the "**Delete**" or "**F2**" or "**F12**" key to enter the BIOS setup utility. #### Auto start after power failure In shutdown mode, computers with **Restore AC Power Loss/AC Recovery/AC BACK** function under the BIOS power management menu can support the auto start after power failure. In most cases, go for the following setting in "**Power Management**": **Restore AC Power Loss** "**AC BACK**" "**AC Recovery**" **Restore after AC Power Loss** **Restore on AC/Power Loss** "**AC Power Recovery**" "**After Power Loss**" "**Power on after power outage**" or something similar, find it and enable it. Take ASUS motherboard as an example: Press the power button to turn on the computer. When the screen appears, press **the DEL / F12 key** on the keyboard until the BIOS setting screen appears. If you enter bios settings **in EZ mode), press F7** to enter Advanced Mode. **1. Visit Advanced Tab > APM Configuration** **2. Set the Restore AC Power Loss option to Power On** **3. Visit Exit Tab** **4. Click Save Changes & Reset** Then shut down the computer, **wait 5-10 minutes for the motherboard to be completely discharged**, and then plug the power plug back in. If the computer can automatically turn on after powering on, the BIOS setting is successful.  Take the MSI motherboard as an example: Restart your PC and keep pressing the **DEL / F2** key when booting to enter the BIOS interface If you enter bios settings in **EZ mode, press F7** to enter Advanced Mode. **1. Visit Settings > Advanced > Power Management Setup** **2. Set Restore after AC Power Loss to Power On** **3. Visit Settings > Advanced > Save & Exit** **4. Select Save Changes and Reboot** Then shut down the computer, **wait 5-10 minutes** for the motherboard to be completely discharged, and then plug the power plug back in. If the computer can automatically turn on after powering on, the BIOS setting is successful.  Take the Gigabyte motherboard as an example: Restart your PC and keep pressing **the DEL / F12 key** when booting to enter the BIOS interface. If you enter bios settings **in EZ mode, press F2** to enter Advanced Mode. **1. Visit Settings > Platform Power** **2. Set AC BACK to Always On** **3. Visit the Save & Exit tab** **4. Select Save & Exit Setup** Then shut down the computer, wait 5-10 minutes for the motherboard to be completely discharged, and then plug the power plug back in. If the computer can automatically turn on after powering on, the BIOS setting is successful.  Take the ASRock motherboard as an example: Restart your PC and keep pressing **the DEL / F2 key** when booting to enter the BIOS interface If you enter bios settings **in EZ mode, press F6** to enter Advanced Mode. **1. Visit Advanced Tab > Onboard Device Configuration** **2. Settings Restore on AC/Power Loss to Always On** **3. Visit Exit Tab** **4. Select Exit Changes and Exit** Then shut down the computer, **wait 5-10 minutes for the motherboard to be completely discharged**, and then plug the power plug back in. If the computer can automatically turn on after powering on, the BIOS setting is successful.  Take the Dell motherboard as an example: Enter Power Management Setup——AC Recovery is set to: On.  Take Lenovo motherboard as an example: Enter Power-After Power Loss is set to: Power On.
